                                            Are We ignoring it?

                                        Dont want to get involved?

                                            At who's expense?

We the body of Christ have a responsibility to help look after the welfare of hurting people. We are after all are stewards, Gods hands extended. Many, I am sad to say within the Church have had knowledge of this going on in someone's life, yet turned a deaf ear, swept it under the rug so to speak.

This must stop Church! We must bring this to light, many have died at the hands of an abuser and others as myself came very close, what if they/I were one that had come to you for help and you did nothing?

Has there ever been a time in which maybe a neighbor was being abused, we knew it and did absolutely nothing?

Would Jesus ignore it? I don't think so. We must be there for them, the abused need to get out for their own welfare, and the poor children who, even if not struck directly, are absorbing all the violence and the cycle keeps going. That cycle must be broken. We must make it known that it is NOT acceptable to the abuser, that there is consequences, and help for them! Those in abuse need to know they have someone to talk to, to bring this to light and prayerfully get the much needed help for the abuser. Most of the time, the abuser was abused himself/herself, and needs help. Hurting people, hurt people. This cycle must stop! And the Church   should not dismiss those that do come forward and tell us they are in an abusive situation, and seeking help. Get informed, stand ready to give them info to aid in their getting away from this before they too are a statistic. Personally, I know the feeling of looking for someone to tell and talk to, but are embarrassed and afraid to do so. They many times feel ashamed and afraid. They need to know that they can come to us. But please know this, the shame isn't going and telling someone so as to get help, the shame is staying in it, knowing that one day it could lead to someone's death, knowing it doesn't get better, it gets worse.

Domestic Abuse can be a silent killer, and I pray with all my heart, it will no longer be a subject of silence.

Please, Be Aware and Care

If you are a victim of abuse, go to your Pastor, a friend, a family member, call the Domestic Abuse Hotline below, BUT tell somebody, so they can help you, don't let fear keep you from help, let it motivate you OUT of the situation, to a healthy and safe place, free of fear.

God loves you and wants you safe and well.

Domestic Violence and emotional abuse are behaviors used by one person in a relationship to control the other. Regardless of whether inflicted by male or female or type of relationship.

Emotional, Sexual and Physical even verbal as it is usually considered part of the emotional aspect, go hand in hand with Domestic Violence, one will/can lead to another.

Domestic Violence can be criminal and includes physical assault (hitting, pushing, shoving, etc.), sexual abuse (unwanted or forced sexual activity), and stalking. Although emotional, psychological and financial abuse are not criminal behaviors, they are forms of abuse and can lead to criminal violence. Domestic violence can be name calling, preventing contact with family and friends, or in more overt forms like sexual assault and stalking.

Soiled And Dirty

Child of Mine, I have formed you to be fully alive in Me, to know the full extent of My joy and the full measure of My peace. I never put you here to simply exist or to "get by" or "survive." I have given you an important job to do with Me in My kingdom, I have given you a destiny and a purpose. I have placed My call upon you and I have allowed you to see what I am doing, that you might participate in it with Me. I have even granted you kingdom authority and power, and I have endowed you with many good gifts.

My plans for you are good; do not fear them for they will bring you much joy and satisfaction. I have explicitly created you for the destiny that I have carefully chosen for you, you are well suited to it. It will fit you like a glove and you will find fulfillment in doing precisely what I have created you to do.

Child, the enemy of your soul would have you think that you are flawed and that you have been disqualified from the destiny that I have so carefully selected for you. He wants to discourage you and he hopes to persuade you to give up. But child, he is simply a liar and the father of lies, and the truth is not in him. You must not believe the terrible things that he says to you about yourself, for He is trying to keep you from reaching your full potential in Me, so you won't perform the destiny that I have created you for.   Yes, there are times when you get soiled and dirty. There are times when you require the cleansing flow of My Son's blood, shed so freely on Calvary on your behalf. There are times when you are stubborn and rebellious, and yes, there are even times when you deserve a spanking. But once you have been adopted into My family, you never stop being My child. I do not throw you away because you slip and I do not discard you when you fail. That is not My way and it has never been My way. I am faithful. I will not turn My back on you.

When you have failed or fallen short and then you run back to Me, I receive you with open arms. I do not reject you, instead I strengthen you and I transform you. I will help you grow more and more into the image of My Own dear Son, and I will work My glory in your life. That has always been My intention. I did not make a mistake when I chose you. Child, I live in all times at once and I fully knew you before you came to Me. I knew everything you would do, everything you would think, everything you would say, and I still loved you. Knowing everything about you, I have chosen you and you are Mine. So what is it that you can possibly do that will disqualify you for the good destiny that I have for you?

Think of a child who goes out to play on the first day after many rains. His mother dresses him in clean clothes and sends him out. But as he plays, he gets muddy. Does the mother disown him when he comes home with his clothes dirty and his face soiled? Of course not! And neither will I disown you! I will do what any good parent does when you come to Me soiled and dirty with your failures and shortcomings. I will strip the filth off of you as the mother strips away the dirty cloths and throws them in the wash.
Then I will bathe you and give you a good scrubbing to wash away all of the dirt.

That is what My Son, Jesus, has accomplished for you on Calvary. Sin and filth no longer separate you from Me. Shame and failure no longer rule over you, for you have been adopted into My family and I have given you an inheritance.

Yes, there will be times when I must chastise you as loving father correct his dear son. That is not to push you away or to reject you. No! If I discipline you, it is only to turn you away from the thing that caused you to fail, so that you might run back to Me and receive My embrace.I know you and I know your shortcomings, you are never going to surprise Me by them. I am not going to push you away when you fall short.

Yes, you will fall short. You will fail from time to time, it is part of the growth process. When that happens, do not listen to the lies of the enemy and do not disqualify yourself. Instead, run quickly back to Me and allow Me to cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Allow Me to restore you and to thrust you back into the center of your destiny. I have called you and I have chosen you. I am not going to throw you away when you fall short. I am going to work within you to transform you and to empower you to walk in the full measure of My victory.

Do not disqualify yourself, child of Mine, for I have not
disqualified you.
